On 20th March, 11am (UTC), you will have the chance to review the ethics of artificial intelligence (AI) research projects.
Colleagues from the Ada Lovelace Institute, University of Exeter’s Institute for Data & AI, and Kairoi will facilitate an extended, online, ninety-minute workshop where participants get to:
- Learn about research ethics committees in AI and data science research following our report Looking Before we Leap¹
- Reflect on concerns AI research can raise for society, and
- Engage in discussion about the ethics of hypothetical research proposals.²
This is one of MozFest’s “Allies in Practice” sessions, “building new allyships with organisations, coalitions, builders, artists, activists, journalists, and social movements who are committed to reshaping the future of our digital world.”³
Secure your pay-what-you-can ticket on our event page and remember to add it to your schedule!
